Street Preaching in New London Ct. 

 

 

 

 

Fairview Nursing Home - This takes place on the first and third Sunday of each month. Opportunity for folks to help sing, and assist the residents during the service. We have been involved with this ministry for about 16 years. During this time we have seen God do miraculous things for the residents there. Many have been saved over the years, even some who were over 100 years old!

 

Door Knocking - This is a great time and opportunity to reach people for Christ. You will get into many one on one conversations and be able to deal with people on a very personal level about their souls. We do this weekly on Thursdays meeting at the church at 5:30.

 

Friday Street Preaching, Tracts, Witnessing - We encourage all who attend our Church to witness daily. We also do this as a Church group Friday afternoon at 5:30 PM in different local areas surrounding Ledyard.

 

Saturday Street Preaching, Tracts, Witnessing - On Saturday we get together and go down to Providence R.I. Here is a great opportunity to tell people about the savior and show people the truth from God's word.

 

Visitation - Once a month we get together and go out as a church group to visit new residents in the area. This ministry assures that newcomers to Ledyard hear the gospel and get an invitation to come to a bible believing church.

 

Home Bible Studies - We have several folks who lead bible studies in their homes on a regular schedule. These are to encourage the saints of God and open doors of out reach to those who might not otherwise attend Church. Our desire for the unsaved is to see them come to know Christ as Saviour and join with serving Christians in Church.

This has been an especially good ministry among older folks.

 

IBS (Interactive Bible Study) Night- Once a month we get together at the church and do a group bible study, we then play board games, ping pong, and foosball with each other. This is always a great time of fellowship where christians old and young can get together and spend time with other christians.
